Origin#
Started making a karma / palace card game remake in godot during a home jam. It was a game we knew the rules of well which helped. co-learning and working it out together. No custom art or effects at this point, but basic game play was functioning. Could win and lose.

Novel Controller#
Took this to the SFA jam with a 3 pedal controller we wanted to try use for input. By the end of the jam, the pedals were working, added some custom art work and sound effects, and someone played it for the end of day demo.
Took this to the massive meetup and demo’d it. Had a few people play, win and lose. Minor bugs.
Trips rewrite#
Prompted a rewrite because of the 3 button input idea. Rewrote rules, verbage, concept, game play, and refactored spaghetti scripts into a state machine. Added character generator, reworked card playing effects, highlighting, menus and help overlays.
